Schriftatlas II, 15a

[The recto of folio 15 features a meticulously hand-drawn map, or street plan, although it also resembles an intricate if haphazard garden maze or labyrinth. The drawing fills the entire page, as if to suggest the extension of its streets or passages beyond its limits, out into unfathomed vastness. The map contains no words, arrows, or other indications of place, nor does it include a legend of any kind.–Trans.]  (II, 15a)
